Mindfulness Exercise: Accessing your Subconscious to Verify Your Plans and Ideas
Your subconscious mind stores your past thoughts and experiences, things people have said to you, things you have read or heard on media, and much more.
It is a vast storehouse.
According to psychologists such as Jung, this part of you also links you to the collective shared experience of humankind.
In addition, it reflects what is called the “superconscious” realm of total positivity, the "divine within" or "kingdom of heaven within you.".
Getting to know your subconscious can help you greatly to learn whether your actions and plans support your goals.

If you are skeptical or uncomfortable about meditation, see this pdf and video on meditation for law enforcement personnel:

You might already be accessing your subconscious mind through affirmations, dream awareness, relaxation exercises, moments of reflection, etc. The following exercise can help you access your subconscious feelings and thoughts about your Stardom.

1. Allow 20-30 minutes of undistracted time. Find a calm place where you won’t be disturbed.

2. First clarify your ideas about what Stardom you're seeking info about. Write a few notes about it.

3. Next, for a few minutes immerse yourself in some good feeling (positive emotion), such as love or gratitude or happy enthusiasm. One way to get this feeling started is to picture someone or something you love or that you are grateful for.

4. Breathe slowly and deeply while holding on to the feeling. You are likely to notice a tingling sensation or a feeling of fullness. Once you have this good feeling ongoing, bring up the thought of your desired Stardom.

5. Thinking about your Stardom, pay attention to how it makes you feel. Does it increase your positive emotion of love, gratitude or enthusiasm? or does it distract you from it, bringing up something like anxiety? Especially notice any images, sounds, words or feelings that come to mind.

6. Then write some notes or draw some images about what comes up for you about your Stardom. These notes can guide you and help you maintain your confidence. You'll use these notes for your writing assignment below.

If you are on track with the Stardom you seek, you’ll feel well-being at this point, and you may hear silence.
If you are not on track, or if you didn't focus, you’ll feel restlessness and you'll hear more mental chatter. Try again, starting with relaxing and deep breathing.

Optional: Read the tab "Your Subconscious - More Info."

Assignment: Write 100-150 words on this experience. You might also briefly refer to other experiences of meditation you've had.
